One day, Tom the cat came home from school in a messy uniform. As soon as he entered the house, he threw his uniform, school bag, and books on the floor. He didn’t bother to keep them in place.
Feeling hungry, Tom ran to the kitchen and started playing with the plates. Suddenly, the plates slipped from his hands and broke into pieces. Instead of cleaning up, he sat near a pile of unwashed clothes and watched TV.
When his mother came home, she was shocked to see the mess. She scolded Tom for being careless and not listening to her. But Tom didn’t pay attention.
The next day at school, his teacher noticed his untidy appearance and spoke to him. She taught him about good manners, cleanliness, and the importance of keeping things in order. She also told him that she and his friends would visit his home the next day.
Tom felt embarrassed and decided to change. He helped his mother clean the house, swept the floor with a broom, and arranged everything neatly.
When the teacher and his friends arrived, they were surprised to see how clean and tidy his house was. Everyone was happy, and Tom felt proud of himself. From that day, he always kept his home and surroundings neat and clean!
