Deforestation speech

There is a small speech on ''DEFORESTATION''

First of all ..many questions came in our mind..like;
What is Deforestation ?
How is it?
And more and more doubts put in our mind when we think about it.

Now it reveals...

Deforestation is the cutting down of trees by human improper manner.Human cut trees for feed their need ...but they forget that truth ie; ''excessive cutting of trees cause global warming which is bad for atmosphere.It is the permanent devastation of native forests and woods.It happens in many ways...When trees are cut down to grow crops, for live stock, logging so wood can be used for building things like houses and furniture, for roads and neighborhoods, for firewood and forest fires.

Deforestation is affecting our environment and tge way our earth appears.Atleast, 80% of our forests have been destroyed.Our rain forests are disappearing.When human remove or clear large areas of forest lands and related ecosystems for non- forest use.These include clearing for farming purposes, ranching and urban use.In these cases, trees are never replanted.Since the industrial age, about half of world's orginal forests have been destroyed and millions of animals and living things have been endangered.

Despite the improvements in education, information and general awareness of the importance of forests , Deforestation has not reduced much,and there are still many more communities and individuals who still destroy forest lands for personal gains.

Inadequate of this, there is an increasing demand for agricultural land inorder to grow more food crops for feeding the growing human population which is done through clearing forest areas.

  Forest land is also used for building more residential complexes and industrial townships.
And decreasing the forest coverof an area.World forest cover of 7000 or more million hectares has been reduced 2400 million hectares in 2000 onwards.

In India, at the begining of 20th cenury forest cover was about 30% of the total land.By tge end of the century...it shrunk to 19.4% where as NATIONAL FOREST POLICY (1968) of India has recommended 33% forest cover for the plains and 67% for the hills.

Even though there are many hectares of forest still remaining, but the purity has been lost.They are only the shadows of the real forest areas.

We all knew the fact..Millions of trees have been felled down for industrial purposes.A tree becomes tree only after hundredsof years.But it takes only one minutes to cut down the trees.This is the real fact behind DEFORESTATION.

We have our own justifications.It is not a local issue.It's happening worldwide.It brings climate change.Don't we feel that the earth is getting hotter...Huge and huge amount of carbon is emitted to the atmosphere.Only trees can save our life.Realising the fact only through Tsunamis.Yes...Trees stop erosion.They give fresh air ....

SAVE TREES....SAVE LIFE by way of better thoughts.
